1. To start off the book im reading is distance between us by Reyna Grande. The plot about this story is about how to are going through a rough time in Mexico wile there parents are in the United States . It's three kids in this story there names are Reyna, Mago, and Carlos. They live with they're grandparents meanwhile her parents are making money back in the United States. 2.The theme about this book is to always appreciate what you have. I brought this up because in the book Mago starts to get pricey with clothes because she's going to high school. It teaches readers to appreciate what parents could give you. I learned from it because I don't ask my parents for money when they didn't have any at the time. 3.It doesn't explain about why any of there parents stayed with them. That’s all I got planned for my weekend.
Hello everyone, my name is Jacob Estrada. I am 14 years old, and I am the youngest of five. Fun fact about me is I’m a fraternal twin. My twin also happens to be a girl; my sisters name is Isabella. I come from a family that is considered “tight knit”. We have overcome many Challenging things the past two years which has made my family stronger. Other activities I enjoy alone, and as a family is baseball. A passion for baseball all started with my grandpa. My grandpa would spend everyday on his favorite couch watching baseball games, and when he passed my dad decided to keep the legacy alive by enrolling us in baseball. My brothers led the way, and I followed their footsteps. We have all been playing since we were at least 7, and enjoy the sport. My brother as a matter of fact, won CIF title for our school the Santa Maria saints. I am looking forward to this upcoming season of baseball, and also my year as a sophomore. This is my life as Jacob Estrada.
